Wandering Winds

So long in exile,
I’ve made the wandering winds
my most firm abode.

  1. In my Zelator period, I became, as if exiled; removed from friends and family with my life feeling like I was being blown about by the wind. I was accused of weird things by different groups that were an important part of my existence. I traveled several towns through several states and really, even when getting home and building again, was still put off from putting down some roots through several experiences.
Interestingly enough, my motto was Zephyros; the ‘Western Wind’ and consort of Iris. My magick circle still stands with this name. My focus on the Western Mystery Tradition was tied in with my intent in taking this motto and I attained my goal; but was naive of the shall we say, side-effect of the energy I generated. Yet my experience in the circle and with my magick work continued to grow, as it had through my prior Grades.
I then own and choose to keep this experience.
It has done much for me.

    1. Thank you for this illuminating contribution! Indeed, our magical mottoes come to be fulfilled one way or another. The key, as you show, is to grow in maturity with them and raise their energy with us as we go deeper in our path of mastery.
