The Emperor’s Clothes

The Emperor’s clothes is the phenomenal world, the tonal itself. It is nature as it appears to us. Everything that we perceive is the clothes of the Emperor. Phenomena are the Emperor’s clothes, and behind this phenomena, which is an illusion, is the naked body of the Emperor. That nakedness of the Emperor, which exists beyond this veil of illusion, is only visible to the Fool. The Fool sees the nakedness of the Emperor. The unclothed Emperor is the naked brilliance of the empty mind.

  1. Powerful and insightful, Koyote. We’ve created for ourselves a world of illusions and have been brainwashed to believe that we are above and disconnected from Mother Nature, the web of life.

Oh, to be a Fool with an empty mind!
