The Aim of the Teachings

The aim of the Teachings is to give you the tools, and facilitate the conditions, for a transformation. What kind of transformation is this? Every human being has the potential for changing their perception, their nervous system even, to the point where they become receptors of the divine. You have the potential to attune yourself to the infinite, and become a chariot of divine consciousness.

The Teachings are designed to give you the tools and the know-how to accomplish this lofty goal. This is the meaning behind the name of the Toltec city of Teotihuacan: “the place where gods are born.” The city itself was an artifact designed to create the necessary shocks and adjustments in the initiate’s perceptions, thoughts, and nervous system that connected each one with the cosmic consciousness, producing in effect gods walking the Earth in human form.

My books are such artifacts.

To do the work they are meant to do, we need to take into account the hermetic law of rhythm. Everything in nature moves with rhythm, and no change is possible without it. The reading of these books take rhythm into account. They have been carefully designed using effective esoteric principles of magick and mysticism to produce in you a psychic system capable of connecting to the source of all knowledge and all evolution.

In the end, you will come to realize that what this Teaching, as with any knowledge that comes from outside yourself, is only a reflection of what is already inside yourself.

Nothing new can be taught from the outside; all real teaching emanates from the one true source, and that true source lies within the innermost recesses of your heart. My writing can be a facilitator at best, and if you apply it with sincerity and assiduity you will connect with the eternal, infinite consciousness from which all is created. That is your true teacher, and to that source is that my books are meant to help you connect.

To accomplish this end, therefore, we must proceed in harmony with the law of nature, with science and with art, to produce true and lasting harmonious glory.

Be the Author of your Story

What you consider to be your personal history is, in reality, an artistic creation. It is the story you are making up in this dream. It is possible to put the plot, narrative, and message of your life the way a scientist designs a blueprint, or you can design your life as an artist puts things together.

You may systematically, and using data, design your manifestation in this world. You can also be an artist and not only design it for a utility standpoint, but grab a seed from the vast unconscious and create a work of art.

When you think of your lifeline, you are not only remembering what happened. You are connecting events, impressions, intents, and doings. You are making decisions of what to leave out, what to emphasize, and how to see what happened.

More importantly, when you look at your life story, you thread these events with an invisible, hidden thread. This thread that unifies and arrange the memories in patterns create a story full of meaning and significance, an artistic array made of life.

Tell your story. Use it to discover the hidden threads of destiny. Tell it, even, to uncover that most elusive of beings: the author of your story. The narrative of your story implies the story teller, the narrator, the artist who creates patterns of meaning and sense and, in so doing, emerges as the unifying force in this work of art called life.

Pure Will Is the Splendor of the Sun

Intent is an actionable manifestation of Will. Intent is a reflection or refraction of Will. One Will, a series of intents. It takes a lot to accept your own Will. You have spent a lifetime covering it up, trying to not accomplish it, saying, “Not yet, not yet, not yet.”

Will is not synonymous with desire. Desire belongs to the law of accidents. You come to desire in accordance to the programming that was given to you. Will is more connected with destiny than to the desires of the ego. In fact, when under the light of pure Will, the desires of the ego become nullified, like the light of a tiny candle before the glory of the Sun.

YOU ARE INVITED TO MY BOOK RELEASE: THE TEACHINGS OF A TOLTEC SURVIVOR

We Create the World to Act in the Face of the Immensity

When a baby is born, they have a brain full of neural connections ready to take on the programming. The baby begins by not having a fixed world. It does have a Tonal but it is elusive, not fixed. The delimitations between the Tonal and the Nahual are ephemeral at best, and the child keeps moving between this world and other possible worlds. We begin to concentrate the attention of that child to this world with our teachings and what we allow the child to see, and the world is thus consolidated. The way this happens is physical, by pruning and by getting rid of neural connections. There is constant pruning for five to seven years. The baby begins to eliminate parts of his brain because he has to have what is necessary in this world. When you encounter a situation, or when you enter a room (this is how the brain works), your nervous system picks up on a few cues about the room, and that makes you realize which program you should be running. It’s an efficiency mechanism.

When you go home to your children, spouse, and parents, you find yourself in very familiar situations. The sets of programs you have for those situations are very limited. The triggers abound and the program runs automatically. You don’t need to decide what to do; you already know. When you see a face, you recognize it from just a few visual points within the face.

When we are in our office, and we see that face with certain similarities, we already know who it belongs to. Your nervous system, to save time and energy, does not bother with picking up the signals every single time. It just picks up a few, runs the program, and puts the familiar face in it. If you put all your attention into that face, the program is not running; you are receiving the data and it is completely new.

So, imagine that someone were to tell you that when you are born you easily stare into the face of God. To see that face now would require far too much attention. So instead, you run your program called “the world,” “reality,” “the Tonal.” This program allows you to act without being rendered incapable of acting due to the awe, the influx of infinite information.

To act in the face of the immensity of the real, we construct a world. To act, yes, but also to be able to adumbrate a piece of the infinite, and through that construct we hope to one day see the luminous truth beyond all appearances.

The Great Magician and The Black Sheep

We tell a story of a sheepherder who happened to be a magician, and a very lazy one. He didn’t want to bother to build a fence to keep the sheep inside. The sheep were always escaping and exposing themselves to danger. The magician decided to employ his abilities to keep the sheep inside, hypnotizing them. He made them believe that they were free and safe inside the fence. In fact, he made them believe that whenever he fleeced them, that it was for their benefit. Once in a while, one would disappear, and the sheep were conditioned to believe that she had gone to a better place. In fact, he not only convinced them that he was acting for their benefit, but that they were not sheep at all, that they were human beings. Some thought that they were doctors, lawyers, priests, business people, seekers on a spiritual quest—all approved by the great magician, of course. They thought they were attaining powers and learning secrets. Of course, if they did not know that they were sheep, they would never try to change their situation for real; they would never try to escape; never attempt to evolve. Some even thought that they were magicians and knew the secrets; and all of them had the same fate.

Now, there were a few sheep whose fleece was not as valuable because they were black. Black wool was not as useful as white in the marketplace, so the magician did not pay as much attention to the black sheep, only the white. So, some of the black sheep woke up because the magician wasn’t making sure they remained hypnotized. They realized what they were and what they were doing there. If one black sheep knew the truth and tried to tell the others, the hundreds of white sheep would not listen. Why would they? After all, they were having good lives. They had their problems in their fake realities, but they were fine. Some black sheep managed to escape, and many of those succumbed to predators, but they were free.

Eventually, you had some spotted sheep. With those you could never tell: sometimes they would learn their nature and sometimes not. Of those who knew, some would decide to stay with the white sheep and become completely white.

Most of us are spotted. Part of us wants to be free; part of us wants to be taken care of by the Great Magician. That’s why I say, be careful with your gifts. Some of those are fake, given by the Great Magician. Someone said to me, upon hearing this story, “Be careful with your words because they can get you in trouble.”

I make my words so they get me in trouble. I am at war with the Great Magician. I am the black sheep. I am black, all black. My wool is not for the marketplace. My wool is the obsidian black of the eternal night sky, and its shine is the silence of the endless.

Double-Headed Eagle

https://www.amazon.com/Teachings-Toltec-Survivor-Koyote-Blind-ebook/dp/B07RMK9D4C/

At the highest realm of existence, what the Egyptians called the Sun Absolute and the Toltecs called the Double-Headed Eagle—because when it spreads its wings, all these rays come out to form multiple universes—will ultimately devour you and all that exists. It is the origin of all, and the ultimate destiny of all.

When you die, you are food for that supreme entity. Your body and all its substances are eaten by Mother Earth. If we have managed to form any sort of higher bodies, astral, etheric, Buddhic, angelic, etc., most of them are eaten by other forces at death. What remains of your essence is eaten by the eagle or taken by the Sun Absolute.

One of the tricks of the Man and Woman of Knowledge is to develop in themselves a very attractive package made of personal power, of whatever abilities they can muster, and at the moment of death, have the eagle eat that, but not him. Offer up a human sacrifice.

So, don’t waste those abilities in petty pursuits: give them up for God

The Watcher

Every thought comes and goes.
Every second of time comes and goes.
Every aspiration comes and goes.
Every lifetime I’ve had, it comes and goes.
Every second of time, it comes and goes.

Every flicker of time, it comes and goes.
The watcher watches; and when I move,
the watcher watches.
When I dance, the watcher watches.
When I love, the watcher watches.
When I kill and consume the flesh of my enemy,
the watcher watches.
When I sin of hatred, the watcher watches.
When I sin for love, the watcher watches.
When I pray to God, the watcher watches.
When I blaspheme against God, the watcher watches.

The watcher watches all the time;
and it does not change;
it does not move.
The watcher watches;
and the watcher inside me is what the five watchers
perched on the Tree of Life,
vulture like,
beady eyes,
and through the darkness within them,
watch the watcher within.

(The Watchers, from Koyote’s Angelic Host series)

The One in All

In my experience, seeing the common in all is crucial. It can only be done by withdrawing one’s attention from the external identity (I.e., race, country, culture, etc) and rooting it in the inner. Self knowledge, this way, leads to the realization that we are all one. But this rooting attention on one’s true nature and away from external identity must become a habit. Only then can we become truly aware of the oneness of all without having to rely on belief or dogma.
