What Is the Etheric Double?

A reader, Rohit Agarwal, asks:

Going through golden flower book , is just simply amazing experience.

I have a question , when koyote ji , says that in etheric double , one can go anywhere on this planet. Does he says in different sense or literally it means one can roam around the entire planet just as going on world tour spending hundreds and thousands of dollars.

Asia , America , europe , all of world is it accessible same way as in organic body and all the experiences one can have at these places in organic body , one gets in etheric double. Or is there some differences in experiences of organic body travels and etheric travels. Is something of organic world experience missed in etheric travels or everything of organic is included plus more.

Please explain. It will help greatly.

Viento de Octubre responds:

Asia, America, Atlanta, the bottom of the ocean, my brother’s prison cell, falling with the rain, bouncing with dessert sand in a gust of wind, the edge of the thermosphere…

Koyote’s intensives (Diaphanous Shell, Bhakti the Future, Meditation, Aka Dua, The Dreaming, etc.) all contain the experience of such feats and tasks as he writes and talks about. While the books contain the recipe and the instructions, his personal training include the practical, tangible experience.

There are differences, some as Mary F Scott points out, and then some! The etheric body may come to be known as having its own intelligence. The process taught by Koyote of building an etheric body out of the substances already being produced by the organic body, mixing them with the genius of magick and the ancient teachings, and then training and learning how to use it well enough to transfer a piece of your consciousness into it, turning it on, and have it produce other substances—the ones required to build an astral body—all has to do with a very organic-like process of growing and evolving—all very much within the limits of nature as defined by the shaman and the alchemical magician.

The communication between the etheric body with the conscious, cognitive mind takes learning the language, training, adjusting. It is much more like Rose says, personal. No one can tell you what heat is communicated as to you, if your mind translates it as “hot” or “danger”. The communication between etheric body and organic body is instant and immediate, on the other hand. The body will seek to nurture it and protect it, and objective communication is possible. For example, heat is communicated by the etheric body to the physical body immediately; and, a party of voyagers, such as is always the case in Koyote’s intensives, encountering heat in the Dreaming or etheric waters will all tend to communicate the encounter—some as heat, some as color, some as a dangerous presence, etc.

The physical body is not usually there in all its glorious presence when voyaging in the etheric plane; it plays its own role, though, definitely, and must be trained to handle the voyage. With excellence, as Koyote teaches, the physical body is tangibly present and aware throughout. The etheric body, regardless, communicates directly what is being encountered. This communication, with practice and experience, may be mastered and fine-tuned. Even before mastery, a group of etheric and astral voyages will come back to report, not only personal experiences of objective and collective data, but also changes to the very space their physical bodies have been in—things like increased heat, a mist in the room, a crispiness in the air, the presence of an angelic breeze, time distortions, sparkles in the atmosphere, etc.…

The bodies each report what they are capable of reporting, and they each report to the same internal agency, each in their own language. The magician, the voyager, the dream yogi manages to master the language of these bodies in order to communicate instructions that lead to the manifestation of Will. In many ways, the etheric experience is, then, as tangible as the physical experience to those who have the dreaming body fully developed.

A Doorway to the Higher Dimensions

This, then, is the key to learning to consciously go from the waking to the Dreaming, and indeed to any other plane of existence where we have formed a body:

You must learn to withdraw your attention from one plane and place it on another at will.

If your attention is placed on the external world, on the stimulation coming from your physical senses, then you will withdraw your attention from the inner world of the dreaming. But, if you know that the Dreaming is always there, it is a matter of just moving your attention from the world your senses perceive and placing it on the inner world.

This movement might seem hard to do at first, but it is actually very, very simple and easy. It is so easy that we do it every day and every night. The difficulty is not in withdrawing the senses from one plane and placing it on another, since we do that every day. The difficulty is learning to do it at will. It is a movement, a switch we have been doing automatically, like breathing and the beating of our heart; but just like breathing, we can also decide to do it voluntarily.

You can choose where your attention will be placed.

You can use the Dreaming’s Gate to train yourself to gain mastery of your attention, to access your dream world at will; and later, even, to use this ability to access higher planes of consciousness.

Spiritual Technologies (a new series of books offered in Amazon)

Tantra, Nahualismo, and Magick are all systems of liberation and attainment, used for the awakening of the individual and for the evolution of humanity.

Each system has developed many technologies designed to change and fine-tune the human nervous system, psychic bodies, and soul in order to be able to remember our divine origin, to host the supreme consciousness, and to have the power and ability to transform this world into the manifested body of the supreme consciousness.

I am going to release a series of books, each one presenting and examining a specific spiritual technology from one of my three lineages: Tantra, Nahualismo, and Magick. Some of these technologies have been created by me, and others have been passed down from teacher to student by my lineage.

With each book, you will learn a single technique useful your own spiritual path. They are meant to be useful to you regardless of your path or background. They are meant for all the people, and not restricted to any religion, lineage, culture, or race. Also, each book of the spiritual technologies series will be ready to be used, and does not presuppose that you have any kind of previous knowledge or ability. Each one is useful on its own, and it can be practiced without having to get other books.

Other books I have published, and some yet to be released, might deal with more complete systems of attainment or deal with complex topics. The Spiritual Technologies series, however, is meant for books dedicated to a single technique or artifact.

The first book on the Spiritual Technologies series will be released on July 2nd of 2019. The first book is:

Dreaming’s Gate

I trained with a Yaqui-Lacandon Nahual, Teczaqui Güitame Kachora, in the 1990’s. He provided me with a geometric symbol used in our lineage to train the dreamer to move between the worlds, to master the Dreaming, and to gain access to the higher dimensions of existence. I am providing this sacred gift to you, so that you may also gain mastery of your perception and attain the freedom to move about this universe as you will.

You can download and print a free copy of the Dreaming’s Gate image itself on my website: https://www.koyotetheblind.com/dreamingsgate.

This tool will train different parts of your psyche, your attention, and your dream-self. The first part of the training consists of training the attention to switch from the outer to the inner and to keep it where you want it to stay.

The book will contain a copy of the image given to me by Kachora, and it has clear and easy to follow instructions for working with it. In addition, I will include other instructions you can use to develop your second attention, trigger lucid dreaming, and train your psychic body to become aware of the invisible world around you.

Finally, half of the profits from this book will be donated to Kachora and the Kumiai community that hosts his sacred dance in Tecate, Mexico.

The other half of the profits will be donated towards the maintenance of the Medicine Wheel.

The Weapons of Humanity (pt. 4: The Coin)

The coin is what has been perverted the most, hacked to make our understanding obfuscated and our power unseen. We have been duped with respect to the coin.

The coin of the tarot is the wealth of the world. It is the hidden gem, the hidden secret that awakens the power of the heart. It is the transformed soul, and its radiance the richness of the world.

We have been lied to, however. We have been told that the true coin is this thing that passes for money. Money, paper money, electronic money–it’s a false thing that is used instead of real wealth. The belief that we have put on it makes us believe that the true wealth is there, and that currency is the real coin. That is not the real coin. It’s a fake program. It’s a program that has been introduced into our consciousness through the artifice of civilization.

The whole civilization has been an expansion pack in the evolutionary program we are playing in this virtual reality world called Earth. And the coin was introduced as a form of exchange and of creation. Basically, it has become the code for the ability to upgrade your experience. We can use the currency to put walls around us and to make our house bigger or prettier; to change the quality of the food you eat; to change this table for another one. That’s the magic that is channeled through the coin–and currency is a visible, exchangeable token of the power of the true coin.

Now, the coin is something that is free to everyone. It is inherent in being human. Ah! But this idea is anathema to everyone in modernity. “That won’t work,” they say. “You have to have a limit; and you have to accumulate it and work for it, fight for it, kill for it, destroy populations for it, and to hoard it.”

But what if the true coin is the transformed heart resplandecent with the light of creation? And what if we all have access to it and not just humans but all my relations–that is to say, All Beings Everywhere? All beings everywhere have the supreme consciousness of the universe shining its golden light from within, and all have the right to exist and the right to use the resources of the planet. In fact, we all have the right to exist and use the resources not just in this planet, but anywhere in the cosmos. To see this and know this comes with knowing the coin within, and to hold this true coin is the future of humanity.

The Weapons of Humanity (pt. 3: The Sword)

The sword of the Tarot represents the capacity of the mind to analyze and to break apart the complex. It is the human intellect.

The sword belongs to everyone, which means to say that the ability to think and to use the mind to discover the secrets of the universe, to understand, and to wonder belongs to every person.

That means that education should be an inherited right of every person in the world. Knowledge is the patrimony of humanity, and as such it does not belong to only those who can go to Princeton, Yale, or Brown. It does not belong only to Cambridge and Oxford. The knowledge accumulated by humanity belongs to every human being, and education–the ability to access it and absorb it–belongs to every child.

Everyone should have access to the knowledge of humanity and no one should be left without access to education. Education is a right. It is a human right, period, for every being on this planet.

Holding education only for those who have connections, money, and families with power is a crime against humanity.

The Catholic Church, for centuries, forbade people from reading the Bible. If you were Catholic you couldn’t read the Bible. Why? Because that way only the priests would be reading the Bible and only they would have knowledge, and therefore power. And if the common people wanted the benefits of the Lord, they had to do what the church said. We need to go beyond that, and retake the sword.

Every book and every piece of knowledge that humanity has attained is the inalienable right of the whole of humanity. There should be nothing withheld. The secrets found by humanity belong to everyone. Be suspicious, therefore, of any religion that has secrets, of any occult society that hides its truths, and of any teacher who withholds secrets only for those who pay more.

The Weapons of Humanity (pt. 2: The Wand)

The weapons of magick are inherent to the human being. This means that to every human person–be it male, female, child, queer, transgender or otherwise–belongs the wand. The wand gives direction to the will, and holds the power to create.

You have the power and the right to touch this world from any point where you operate and transform it, and create, and express. This power does not belong only to the pentagon or to the Kremlin. It does not belong to the armies and the soldiers. The wand is not a conventional weapon, and not only those who have guns can wield it.

It is the power of creation. It is the direct gift of Shiva, and you hold it like a lighting bolt; which means that you have the right and power to create your world, to do your Will on this earth as an expression of the will of God; and as the Book of the Law says, “no other shall say nay.”

These institutions of religion and politics we have created are taking it away from everyone else, with the pretext that they own the rights and means of creation. They keep populations ignorant of who they really are. They are keeping us from exercising our own abilities to grow in the exuberance of our spirit. They are keeping us hungry. They are keeping us sick and diseased with poisoned food, weakening drinks, and poisonous ideals.

The institutions we created to administer our power are keeping the majority of the people enslaved without power. Making us believe that the only way to subsist is to sell ourselves in slavery, and that we have to obey those who have the weapons, and the batons, and the tanks, and the holy books.

They make us believe that we are powerless, that we don’t have the wand; but the wand belongs to everyone. Which means that the power to create and destroy belongs to the people. Not to the armies, not to the politicians, not to the president.

The power of the wand is directed first with your libido. Liberate it. Own it. It is behind your creativity, your freedom of expression, and ultimately, it directs the manifestation of your pure divine will in this incarnation.

The Weapons of Humanity (pt 1: The Cup)

The four pillars of the world had been corrupted and turned into evil.

The sword, the coin, the wand, and the cup have been co-opted by the power elites of the world and taken from humanity to make a few people rich and powerful and to make the masses enslaved, ignorant, and powerless.

I would say now with all that I am and all that I know that these weapons belong to every single person in the world. That they are the irrevocable and rightful inheritance of every person in this world. That every person alive in the world has the inherent right to use them, just because each person is a direct descendant of the living omnipotent consciousness that encompasses the world.

We are the rightful wielders of the coin, of the sword, of the wand, and of the cup. Which means that every person in this world has the inalienable right to the pursuit of eternal happiness. That means we all have the right to know God, to not be denied access to the fountain of bliss. That’s the cup, always open to the immensity of the heavens. The one who holds the cup, that’s the heart in its maximum potential and expression which is the cup that opens to the blessful waters of infinity.

That’s the cup. And this opening to the blessings of God has been closed off by the religions of this world and it has been denied to humanity by those who have found the secrets of magick and science and have tried to decide that only a few are worthy of it and most are not. So that if you ever want to connect to that source of enlightenment you have to pay them. You have to obey them. You have to work for them. You have to do this and that. You have to be of a certain race or of a certain class, otherwise you can’t do it.

But if you are truly the king (and you are! For you are no other than the direct expression of Brahma, Shiva and Vishnu in human form), then the cup and the knowledge of the love of God is for you. It is yours and no one has the right to keep you from it. No one.

I’d Gone to Another Place Again

I was very young. I must have been about seven years of age or five. I can’t remember right now. I had gone to the zoo with some aunts and cousins. After the zoo, we were going to the bus—this was in El Salvador. I was following my sister and cousin. Both were six years older than me. They were walking in front of me. I noticed they had begun to walk in a different way, to swing their hips more. I thought they were doing that because boys like it. I thought it was part of the human game. See, I didn’t realize then that I kept looking at the adults as someone would look at animals in the zoo: “These are their mating habits. These are the things they do when they lie. These are the things they do when they want to be liked.” Then, the girls turned a corner, and I followed them. On the sidewalk, there were two tables used by street vendors to offer such goodies as sweet breads and drinks. They were still setting up. My sister and cousin walked between the two tables, and I followed. I pulled myself up with my hands on the tables, and I swung myself playfully, and I came down. And when I came down, the people were not there. The street seemed the same, but no one was at the tables, and there was no food on them. All was quiet. There was an absence of smell, and everything had a buzz to it. And I turned around. There were very few people, and I ran to the corner to catch up with my cousins and aunt, but they were not there. There were some very old cars, not the type I used to see. And then I returned to the tables and I tried to do the same thing again; and, no, I was stuck there.

Something in me thought, I’m lost. I’ve gone to another place again. I looked at the street, and it went on and on for a while, and I said to myself, this is the way back home; if I walk down this path, I will get home, if don’t deviate from it.

I started walking on that strange street. Then, I saw a police officer; and when you are in those spaces in that world, uniformed personnel give you directions. He was standing in the middle of the street, but it didn’t seem odd. “Excuse me. I’m lost,” I told him.

He said, “You are not lost; if you were lost, you would be panicking and crying.”

“Well, I’m lost because I don’t know how to get back home.”

“Where is home?” he asked.

I said, “I live with the humans in Colonia Zacamil.”

So he smiled and said, “Come with me.” He took me to a bus; the door of the bus was opened. This bus was like in England, on the wrong side of the street, but I still entered through the right side from the street. He said to the driver, “This boy needs to get back home to the humans. Can you tell him when he’s there?”

He said, “Sure.” He didn’t ask where. He just drove. The scenery began to change. Slowly there was more dirt, sun, and more noise. The smells came back.

He asked, “You know how to get home from here?,” stoping the bus in front of the bus stop down the path to my house.

I said, “Yes, I do,” and I did. That was the first time I got lost, and then I started to get lost very often. I shifted the assemblage point by mistake at first.

When I got home, I told my mom what happened, and then I hid when my aunt showed up. My aunt was pale. She was worried. She reported we were all together, we were crossing the street, and then everyone crossed the street and I was not on the other side. She looked everywhere and couldn’t find me. Eventually she went home and told my mom. As she was telling my mom and my mom was calmly telling her, “Well, I don’t know, but you’re going to have to go back and find him,” and my aunt realized by my mother’s calm and dismissive demeanor that I was actually there and not lost, I sprung from behind the couch and pounced at her happily, hearing the bells of her happy laugh and cuddled in the warmth of her embrace under the all touching love of my mother’s smile.

The Golden Flower, pt 3: enlightened analysis by Paul Rovelli

This is a deep and accurate presentation of the import of part 3 of my book, The Golden Flower. Enjoy!

Part Three of The Golden Flower is titled: “And in the Philosopher’s Garden Lives the Scent of the Golden Flower.” The first chapter, ‘The Beast’ jumps right at the reader in the opening; especially the Thelemic reader. The Dreaming is turned from a process of consciousness and given a life as an objective being. It becomes the Holy Guardian Angel in the form of a beast that is the dream and the Augoeides. The Beast being the sun in Thelema, the second chapter, ‘Dream is a Dealing with Light’ follows with the Kyote identifying himself as the dream immersed in the light; he (or each of us) is the perceiver and the perception.

His attitude is as one hunting himself, so that in finding oneself, one realizes oneself as mastering the dream. “The only thing beyond the Dreaming itself is the pure, unblemished nothingness–just the silent sound of the eternal.” So that in the third chapter, “The Other Self”, the opening sentence offers the complementary theme: “When you are born, so that your physical body can have a form, a creature of light and shadow is fused to your body–an energy form with its own thoughts, feelings, likes and dislikes. This dual structure of bodies that posits “the other self” as “the dream self” or in Magick, the Augoeides. Waking in the lucid dream is but the first part of the word. The dremaing self must also wake in the physical body. The abstraction of consciousness is the key to the transformational magick of the White School of Magick and its dualist philosophy.

The fourth chapter lives up to its being the namesake of the book. The Kyote literally gives us the LOGOS and feeds us ‘the word’–showing us how IT is consciousness. IT is the Dreaming and the Lotus upon which Brama forever flaots–the Golden Flower. And the chapter fully delivers this to the reader as a sensibility, as the Kyote’s words seem to reach directly into one’s soul. The Golden Flower is ‘literally’ presented; pun intended. The Yellow Rose is but a tone given to the coloration of the Rosy Cross. It can clearly be seen that this chapter is the sumation of the Magick that perfectly draws from both Thelema and the Toltec.

The atmosphere of the fifth chapter: ‘The Going’ shares with us the afterglow from the peak experience of the previous chapter. We realize here that the Golden Flower; the book itself is a talisman, being the Wanga of a most magnificent Obeah. The Kyote’s words as much remind us of the afterglow of an LSD experience; the psychedelic sensibility being preeminant in this chapter. And the sixth chapter: ‘The Three Keys’ closes out this marvelous tome with the Kyote giving us Hadit, Nuit and Ra-Hoor-Khuit in that order; or you might say point, counterpoint and transcendent point.

Hadit is the god that never sleeps; eternally insatiate, and Nuit becomes the girl in the Universe Atu, with her reflection, as if the Kyote’s marvelously reflective images were pulled from Liber 231. And Ra-Hoor-Khuit is this god who “would that, in his eternal wakefulness, he’s always been srrounded by this eternal, unmoving, untouchable abyss behind him. The Kyote’s words make this chapter one long incantation. All that’s left for the reader is but ‘TO DO.’

By Paul Rovelli, director of The Gnostic Church of L.V.X.

A Seed Carried and Nourished by a Lineage Willed to Germinate (a book review by Viento de Octubre)

The Teachings of a Toltec Survivor is like an ancient recording of Koyote on some level, one one may play and pause at will and even share with others nearby. Like everything ancient, it resurfaces through what it survives.

A seed carried and nourished by a lineage willed to germinate. For a Nahual, it was his call. The clever genius of this book is that it isn’t just a book. It carries a call. The Teller masterfully instals filters into the consciousness of the reader, awakening something. The reader becomes a voyager. There is a playing field that only few will enter. Koyote will continue to speak to every reader, and he will be specifically sending instructions to an intelligence that is beyond what is being experienced while engaging with the book. It is in this playing field that The Teachings of a Toltec Survivor opens as the seed; and there, in that moment, the call is transmitted.

His canvas is the Tonal. Koyote placed detailed attention into being heard by the reader. The voice of the Teller is present. Throughout the writing you will find ways and alleys, methods and formulas, doors, hacks and triggers into an inner journey the ancients call a voyage. Open the book to any page, any chapter, and the writing in any phrase will invite you in. The writing is a key to the reading. His teachings allow you to follow, daring you to know and be guided to turn on. Ancient, deeply buried mechanisms of transformation and evolution are contained within the organic human host as you read and allow yourself to follow. Alchemical furnaces internalize a heating of change-causing agents within an alchemical laboratory known as a temple by simply following along. The act of reading itself becomes the conduit through which Koyote reaches the voyager essential navigational instruction.

He Tells in magick the story teller within, the one writing your story, in a way that allows for the awakening of something deep. Contact is essentially maintained with attention. Guided through by an inner voice that sometimes becomes Koyote, sometimes your higher self, sometimes something else speaking in tones devastating to the ordinary field of thought and meaning. All that remains then is whatever you muster to gather about yourself for a quick reality check, and the book again holds your self gravitationally attracted and electromagnetically attached to whichever reality Koyote is presently presenting your presence as you read. The words proceed again to guide you into an inner world where the voice resonates, and you engage deeper and deeper with the Teachings until, again, you come to realize, as if materializing into something sacred he has already constructed elsewhere in a time long ago forgotten, that Koyote just took you there again. As you read so you voyage.

His art is the Telling, and The Teachings of a Toltec Survivor is an expression of that. It isn’t the Telling itself—not an invocation as such. It is, instead, a sculpture of the artist using elements of his artistry. On his palette one sees magick, lineage, School, Teachings, Toltec, the Telling, Tantra, Yoga, shamanism, comedy, intent, philosophy, story-telling, gaming and more. Will, Nahual, and The Great Work are impressions now left inside your eternal coding as a way to manifest just that. This is his masterpiece.”
